The
Riverside Dixieland Jazz Band is a 6 piece band that is known for providing
an entertaining, "Let's have a ball" performance, combined with
hard driving, happy, toe tapping Dixieland jazz.
In addition to a straight Dixieland style, the band is also adept at playing
other types of music, including the standards, latin and the odd waltz,
3 of our 6 members also double on vocals, making our band the favorite
of many Country Clubs in the area.
The band which is now based in S.Florida, originated in 1987 in Toronto
Ontario and has played all over North America, including the past 14 years
at the RagTime/JazzTime festival in Alexandria Bay,NY., aboard the cruise
ships SS Meridian, and Costa's Mediterranea as well as numerous club and
concert dates.
